Difference Between WordPress.com And WordPress.org

WordPress is an open-source content management system (CMS) that makes it easy to create and manage a website. WordPress provides more easiness to build a professional website. It is both front end and back end development, But many developers use front end development and some use back end. WordPress is used by many website builders and many build plugins and themes for it.

Market Needs Of WordPress

WordPress is more demanded then other website ( CMS) in market. WordPress is growing its computation every where and have one of the top ranks. Highlighting that “There are an estimated 64 million websites currently using WordPress. Over 400 million people visit WordPress websites every month. 661 new WordPress sites go live each and every day. There are over 50,000 plugins available to enhance your WordPress website “.

WordPress.com

WordPress.com was made by American developer Matt Mullenweg and English developer Mike Little, as a fork of b2/cafelog. WordPress was released on May 27, 2003, by its founders. WordPress.com have many limitations in the free plan. But although as WordPress.org requires a server ( Hosting) and a domain to publish without it you can not exist. whereas in WordPress.com free plan you can publish your site without owning a server and WordPress.com give you a subdomain at wordpress.com. For example yourname.wordpress.com, example.wordpress.com. WordPress.com have plans for selection. but in the free plan, we can choose a limited theme and no plugins. To avail those faculties we have to have to purchase a plan. Every plan has different uses, But remember there are limitations on editing in different plans!.

WordPress.org

WordPress.org is a ( CMS) based on MySQL and PHP. You can remember WordPress.org for ( organize) because you have to organize. your website all your own. For publishing the WordPress.org website you have to purchase a server and a domain and then publish it. Where as I told you that WordPress.com can be published without purchasing both the domain and Server ( Hosting) and Domain but you have many limitations, but if you purchase a Domain and Hosting Server for a wordpress.org website you can excess to all features and payment gateways but remember to have to self organize them.

Summary

With WordPress. org, you host your own site and you are the one to organize it. With WordPress.com, on the other hand, it’s WordPress.com that takes care of all of this for you (easier to start, but less freedom)!
