What type of city is Sukkur

Sukkur is the third-largest city of Provence Sindh-Pakistan. Sukkur population is counted about 534,000 in 2020. Sukkur has a land area of 300 km².

Sukkur comes 150 km after entering Sindh from the north.

Sukkur Specialty

It has much more to see than to visit historical monuments. Whereas it has many bridges and the most highlighted thing is that Sukkur is home to the mighty River Indus this is why it has dominants bridge structures. It also has a Barrage known as 66 doors, It is built with a beautiful angle when the sun sets it faces it, and more.

My visit to Sukkur

Sadhu Bela Temple

I visited Sukkur on 18 November 2020. The sun was shining brightly above us. It was a family trip. We decided to first visit Sadhu Bela Temple. It is located at the centre of the river Indus. Sadhu Bela Temple is a Hindu Temple located at Sukkur. It is established in 1823 by Baba Brakhandi Maharaja. So, we parked our car outside the road. There was a huge gate through which we crossed. Then to reach the temple we had to use a boat to reach it. When I sat on the boat I thought I was on an aeroplane, but soon we reached the temple because it was not too long a route, it was just a little way to the Temple but due to it was on the water so we used a boat. After we reached the Temple (Sadhu Bela Temple) gate, we went in. There we met a man respectively an uncle who guided us through each place of the Sadhu Bela Temple. I saw many new things such as many religious signs were carved on a door, there were 3D paintings and more.

Under The Sukkur Bridge

So, as we left Sadhu Bela Temple. and reached the cost by Temple boat. My brother wanted to have this joy ride on a boat. Hence we decided to go for a long ride on a boat, when we reached there and so did we managed to get a boat for ourselves. It was an extended ride crossing and under the Sukkur bridge. We sat on the boat and its engine started. The boat started its way to the steel bridge. It was a moment I forgot the hotness of the sun as I touched the water and the cool winds crossed over me. Then we asked the boat owner to stop the boat at the place after we cross the bridge. So did the owner do what we said, He stopped the boat and we took some photos of ours and the bridge with the sunset that came after it, How a beautiful moment it was!. Then we moved back to the shore of the Indus. moreover, It is also said that “The Sukkur Bridge was designed by Sir A.M. Rendel (annexe I), and constructed by Messrs”.

I Visited The “Do Darya Restaurant”

After a ride of about 25km from the Temple. We then reached a restaurant called Do Darya Restaurant named as Al-Sajjad. It is one of the popular restaurants there. It is popular for its location in the centre of two canals of the Indus River. We reached there and got our beautiful place to be seated. We had a pleasant time there. We ordered our food, so I went to wash my hands, then I played until the dinner was served to our table. I was tired after the long rides and I ate dinner happily as my day passed happily. Well to say the food delivered to us was delicious.

This Journey is the most rememberable Journey with my parents and siblings!

This Picture is my picture taken in the restaurant so-called Do Darya, Al-Sajjad!
